Whalers Cove is all about it’s location, solid design and it’s ability to fulfill quality rest and relaxation.  After the hurricane over a decade ago, Whalers Cove underwent a major renovation.  Each units interiors were taken down to the studs and rebuilt from the frame.  Exterior deck tile and heavy duty sliding glass doors were installed for each unit.  Word has it that the AOAO made it a priority to get things done right.  Currently, Whalers Cove is heavily insured against peril’s and has strong reserves should repairs need to be commenced.  Many of the AOAO board members are long time owners, some own more than one unit.  Although Whalers Cove is within the Kauai County designated area for vacation rentals, only approximately 1/3 of the 39 Whalers Cove units are currently being used as vacation rentals.  The oceanfront condominiums at Whalers Cove certainly qualify for a special place inside the most discerning of real estate portfolios.
