Originally from Dana Point California, Branden was raised in a family of California real estate professionals.  He worked for many years as an assistant learning the business inside and out.  After committing many years to studying the real estate business and attending college in California, Branden first became licensed to sell real estate in southern California.  Married in 2003, Branden and his wife Natasha made the jump to Kauai where Natasha was born and raised as a child, and whose many family members reside.  Traveling prior to Natasha, Branden arrived in Honolulu 10 days earlier to get his Hawaii real estate license squared away.  All went as planned and Branden arrived on Kauai licensed from day 1.  The Shumate family is a hard working and dedicated family who has since become very comfortable with island life on Kauai.
